    SNOW HILL POLICE DEPARTMENT

    ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE I

    The Town of Snow Hill is seeking to fill the position of a full-time Administrative Aide I with the Snow Hill Police Department.   This position would be responsible for all clerical and administrative support to the department. Benefits are available. 

    Candidate must possess: valid driver’s license; proficiency in clerical and computer skills; excellent written and oral communication; and outstanding organizational ability.   The following skills are preferred, but not required: currently NCIC certified; 2 years as a Police Communications Officer.

Water and Sewer Operator

    The Town of Snow Hill is seeking two (2) qualified candidates for the position of Water and Sewer Treatment Plant Operator.

    Candidate must have High School Diploma or equivalent, and preferably a Class 5A Sewer license and Class 2 water license.

Police Officer

    The Snow Hill Police Department is accepting applications for full-time and part-time officers.  Applicants must be certified by MPCTC, or out of police work for less than three years and can be recertified with MPCTC.  

    Applicants will have to pass a criminal background check, polygraph examination, and drug test.
