Worcester County Developmental Center is a private, nonprofit organization offering day, vocational, and residential services to adults (21 and over) with developmental and physical disabilites. The Day Program/Administrative Offices, located at 310 East Market Street in Snow Hill, are open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm weekdays and offer transportation from the Virginia Line to the Delaware line in Worcester County as well as various locations in Wicomico and Somerset Counties . Five homes in Snow Hill, two in Berlin, and one in Ocean Pines make up the Residential Department along with a supported apartment in Berlin, one in Ocean City, and two foster care homes in Berlin. With 86 individuals receiving Day Program services from WCDC and 26 people in the Residential program, the unduplicated client count is over 90.
